Pomo Cabinet Handle

Why does the 800 mm Pomo have three fixing holes instead of two?

The 7 mm wide profile is very slim. At a length of 800 mm and with only two fixing points, such a narrow aluminium handle could flex sideways in everyday use. A third hole in the middle of the handle provides greater stability. For smaller sizes (128–320 mm), two holes are sufficient. Before fitting the 800 mm size, it’s worth precisely marking all three drilling points on the front using a spirit level.

How does the 7 mm Pomo look compared with other slim handles – is it visible?

At 7 mm wide, Pomo is very discreet – when fitted horizontally on a front, it creates a line narrower than a standard pencil. With a height of 24 mm, the handle is clearly visible from the front as a vertical metallic stroke, but its side-on width remains minimal. On black and dark fronts, black Pomo becomes almost invisible as a separate element, while on white and light fronts it creates a precise, thin contrast. This is the visual effect sought after in minimalist and Japandi designs.

Which Pomo colours suit a kitchen with bottle green or navy fronts?

For bottle green and navy fronts, brushed gold and gold work best – warm gold on dark, rich front colours creates a classic contrast. Brushed nickel is a cool, more muted alternative that gives a subtle metallic accent on dark fronts without the warm tone of gold. Black Pomo on a dark green or navy front creates a monochrome scheme in which the handle almost blends into the colour of the front – a discreet and coordinated effect.

Do the handles fit off-the-shelf furniture?

Yes – 128 mm hole centres are a market standard that fits a lot of factory-drilled fronts, including IKEA furniture. Before you buy, simply measure the distance between the centres of the holes in your furniture and compare it with the dimensions table. The screws included fit standard fronts with a thickness of 14–22 mm.

Can I return the products I ordered?

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the parcel. The return procedure is described in the section: Returns and complaints.
