Tusa Cabinet Handle

What is a ‘pearl’ finish and what does it look like in practice?

A pearl finish is a coating that combines depth of colour with a subtle metallic shimmer that becomes visible as the angle of the light changes. Unlike gloss, which reflects light intensely, and matt, which absorbs it, the pearl effect sits in between – the surface is smooth and gently shimmers, but not like a mirror. In the case of Tusa, pearl grey is a cool grey with a metallic shimmer, and pearl black is a deep black with a subtle sparkle as the viewing angle changes.

What style of living room furniture does Tusa suit?

Tusa is intended for furniture with higher aesthetic demands – living room display cabinets, designer chests of drawers, high-end wardrobes and made-to-order furniture. In the Art Deco style, Tusa in brushed gold echoes the metallic decorations typical of this style. In the modern style, with dark fronts, pearl black creates a striking accent. Tusa is not a typical kitchen handle – its 39 mm width and designer colours are intended for spaces where the handle also plays a decorative role.

How do I keep the pearl finish of Tusa in good condition?

The basic rule: only a soft microfibre cloth, no abrasive cleaners, polishes or rough cloths. On living room furniture, where contact with kitchen grease is minimal, the pearl finish of Tusa only needs regular dusting – a soft cloth once every week or two is entirely sufficient.

How do I fit the Tusa handle?

The Tusa handle is fitted to the cabinet front using M4 fixing screws. Before fitting, mark the drilling points according to the actual hole centres of the handle.

Can I return the products I ordered?

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the parcel. The return procedure is described in the section: Returns and complaints.
