Santa Cabinet Knob

What does ‘ink’ mean in the names of Santa’s colour options?

The ink versions – brown ink, light green ink, white ink, red-gold ink, light blue-gold – are finishes of the centre of the knob that stand out for their depth, texture and slight surface variation. The ink effect differs from a uniform lacquer in that it gives a more varied shade and sheen within a single surface. The gold setting further emphasises this effect.

How is Santa different from Gloria – both models have colourful options and a 32 mm size?

The most important difference is Santa’s gold-coloured base. Gloria has a uniform finish without a setting – the chosen colour covers the entire surface of the knob. Santa always combines the colour of the filling with a gold outline. Santa works well where gold details are already present in the space, and Gloria where the colour should stand more on its own.

How do I choose a Santa option to match the colour of my fronts and the style of my interior?

For fronts in white and cream, white ink or light grey-gold work well for a subtler effect, and brown-gold or green-gold for a warmer contrast. Light blue-gold goes well with fronts in light blue or greys. Black-gold or black leather suit dark and anthracite fronts. For children’s furniture with white or pastel fronts, yellow, pink, blue or orange work well.

How much does the Santa knob weigh?

The knob weighs 29.8 g. Its solid weight, which you can feel in your hand, comes from being made from zinc alloy.

How do I fit Santa and does it fit IKEA furniture?

Santa is fitted using a single M4 hole: the screw goes through the front from the back and screws into the thread in the base of the knob. A fixing screw is included with each item. The knob is compatible with IKEA furniture that has a factory-drilled fixing hole. For fronts without a hole, simply drill one hole with a 4 mm drill bit in your chosen position on the front.

Can the colour or pattern differ from the photo?

Yes, the shade of the knob may look slightly different depending on the lighting, screen settings and the colour of the cabinet front. The ink-effect options have a naturally varied texture, which is part of the product’s decorative character.

Does the Santa knob fit standard cabinet fronts?

Yes, the knob is fitted using a single hole with an M4 screw, so it fits most standard cabinet fronts.

How do I fit a knob on a cabinet front correctly?

To fit the knobs, we recommend using only a manual cross-head screwdriver. We advise against using electric screwdrivers, as too much torque can damage the thread or the coating of the knob. When planning where to fit it, it is worth allowing a gap of a few millimetres from the edge of the front. For large fronts or heavy drawers, we recommend leaving a gap of 1–2 cm from the edge, which makes everyday use more comfortable and distributes the forces better.
