How do I fit the Tuli wall hook?
The Tuli hook is fitted using two fixing points with 72 mm hole centres. Before fitting, choose the spot, hold the hook against the wall, panel or cabinet front and mark the positions of the holes with a pencil. When fitting to a wall, drill the holes and use wall plugs suitable for the type of mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or plasterboard.
Then screw the hook firmly to the mounting surface, making sure it is straight and does not move from side to side. When fitting to furniture or a panel, choose the screw length so that the screws do not go right through the board. Once fitting is complete, gently move the hook to check that it is firmly fixed.
Can the Tuli hook be fitted to plasterboard?
Yes, but you need to use suitable wall plugs or fixings designed for plasterboard. Standard wall plugs for concrete or brick may not provide enough stability. If the hook is to be used for heavier coats, bags or backpacks, it is best to fit it in a reinforced spot or to choose fixings suited to the intended load.
Where is the best place to fit the Tuli hook?
The Tuli hook works well in a hallway, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom, kitchen, office or commercial premises. You can use it for jackets, bags, towels, dressing gowns, accessories or small items of clothing. When fitting several hooks next to each other, it is a good idea to leave enough space between them so that items can be hung freely.
