Amarito Cabinet Handle

Why zinc alloy – how is it different from aluminium and brass for cabinet handles?

Zinc alloy is a casting material that makes it possible to achieve a precise shape and a uniform surface for finishing coatings. Compared with aluminium, zinc alloy is heavier and gives a more substantial feel in the hand at similar dimensions. Compared with brass, it does not develop a natural patina, which means the colour stays more predictable for longer – without a natural ageing effect. For users who prefer a handle whose look does not change, zinc alloy with a finishing coat is a good choice.

How do I measure the hole centres on my furniture and which Amarito size should I choose?

Hole centres are the distance between the centres of the two fixing holes on the cabinet front. If the front already has holes drilled, simply measure the distance between their centres with a ruler or tape measure and choose the corresponding Amarito size. If the front has no holes, you can drill them wherever you like – a good rule of thumb is that the handle should take up ⅓ to ½ of the width of the front. With narrow fronts, you should also check whether the overall length (hole centres + approx. 14 mm) will fit with a suitable margin from the edge of the front.

Which Amarito colour should I choose for a kitchen with black taps and fittings?

For a kitchen with black taps and fittings, Amarito in black works well – matching the colour of the handle with the tap, mixer tap or cooker hood creates a harmonious whole. Light sand black is a more understated alternative if you want to echo the black, but without full contrast. If you want to offset black taps and fittings with a warm accent, sand gold creates an interesting combination in kitchens with wooden worktops or elements in warm shades of beige and brown.

Does Amarito in the 256 mm size fit standard wardrobe doors?

The 256 mm size works well on wider fronts of wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes and large drawers. On sliding wardrobe doors, it is also worth checking that the handle does not catch on the guide rail when opening.

Can I mix Amarito sizes in one interior?

Yes – mixing sizes in the same colour is a popular and visually sound solution. The standard scheme is a smaller size (e.g. 128 mm) on drawers and a larger one (192 or 256 mm) on cupboard doors – one model, one colour, different sizes matched to the width of the front. The effect looks coherent and deliberate, because the difference in handle size corresponds to the difference in front size, maintaining visual proportions throughout the space.

Can I return the products I ordered?

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the Customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the parcel. The return procedure is described in the section: Returns and complaints.
