Monte Wall Hook

Are fixing components included?

Yes, standard fixing screws are supplied with the Monte wall hook. When fitting to a wall, choose wall plugs suitable for the type of mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or plasterboard. When fitting to furniture or a panel, it is a good idea to choose the screw length so that the screws do not go right through the material.

What furniture does the retro style of the Monte model suit best?

Its classic, gently arched line goes very well with wooden furniture, routed fronts and wardrobes with decorative frames. The gold option is a particularly good complement to modern classic interiors.

How much does the Monte wall hook weigh?

Each item weighs approx. 64 g. This solid weight comes from the ZnAl alloy construction and you can feel it in your hand the moment you pick it up.

How do I care for the black wall hook so that it does not get smeary?

The best way to keep the colour deep is to wipe the surface regularly with a dry microfibre cloth, which effectively picks up dust and helps reduce visible marks left by touching.

Will the Monte wall hook hold a heavy winter coat?

The Monte wall hook is designed for everyday use with clothes, towels, bags and accessories, but the final load capacity depends mainly on the type of mounting surface, the wall plugs used and correct fitting. For heavier coats, bags or backpacks, we recommend fitting it to a stable mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or reinforced board.

How do I fit the Monte wall hook?

The Monte hook should be fitted to a stable mounting surface, e.g. a wall, panel, wood or furniture board. Before fitting, choose the position, hold the hook against the surface and mark the fixing holes with a pencil. The Monte model is fitted using two holes with 16 mm hole centres.

When fitting to a wall, drill the holes and use wall plugs suitable for the type of mounting surface. Then screw the hook on firmly, making sure it does not move from side to side. After fitting, gently check that the hook is stable before using it every day.

Can the Monte wall hook be fitted to plasterboard?

Yes, but you need to use wall plugs or fixings designed specifically for plasterboard. If the hook will be used for heavier clothing, it is best to fit it in a reinforced spot or choose fixings to suit the planned load.

Where is the best place to fit the Monte wall hook?

Monte works well in a hallway, bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, kitchen, office and next to fitted furniture. You can use it for jackets, towels, dressing gowns, bags, lanyards or everyday accessories. When fitting several hooks next to each other, it is a good idea to leave enough space between them to hang things comfortably.
