Martin Wall Hook – solid construction and versatile design

The Martin wall hook is an option for anyone looking for interior accessories that combine high strength with an attractive finish. This model stands out for its understated yet elegant form, so it can serve both as a practical accessory and as a decorative accent on the wall. It is a versatile wall hook for the hallway, walk-in wardrobe, office and other functional spaces.

Martin is a compact wall hook that combines a modern look with practical use – it works well for jackets, towels, bags, dressing gowns and everyday accessories in the hallway, bathroom, walk-in wardrobe or office.

The Martin collection stands out for its wide range of colours, making it easy to match the model to the character of your interior. You can choose from classic options such as black and pearl grey, as well as more elegant finishes: brushed gold and brushed nickel. For lovers of retro, loft-style and industrial interiors, there are also matt bronze and ORB (Oil Rubbed Bronze). Thanks to its design, the Martin hook keeps hanging clothes stable while retaining a modern, attractive profile.

Why Martin?

Choosing this model is an investment in a detail designed to keep its practical qualities for years. ZnAl alloy offers good resistance to deformation, so the hook works well in everyday use in various rooms, both at home and in commercial spaces.

The Martin series was designed for a wide range of uses – from corridors at home, through modern office spaces, to commercial premises. The design features a contoured holder that makes it easy to hang clothes and accessories conveniently without unnecessary risk of damaging them.

What is ORB (Oil Rubbed Bronze)?

ORB (Oil Rubbed Bronze) is a finish inspired by the look of naturally patinated bronze. The characteristic effect of a dark brown base with lighter metallic highlights on the raised areas and darker recesses gives the surface depth and a more decorative character. In interiors, ORB is a popular choice for rustic, vintage, loft-style and industrial schemes, where it goes well with wood, brick and natural materials. In the Martin model, ORB is a fully fledged colour option of the product.

Fitting the Martin wall hook

The Martin wall hook is fitted with screws. First remove the cover, place the base in the chosen position and mark the fixing points. Then choose wall plugs or screws suitable for the type of mounting surface, screw the hook in place and refit the cover, which will hide the screws.

When fitting to a masonry, concrete or plasterboard wall, choose a fixing suited to the specific mounting surface. The sturdiness of the whole hook depends largely on this.

Matching interior styles and uses

Martin in black and pearl grey suits modern and minimalist interiors. Brushed nickel and brushed gold go well with Scandinavian and modern classic schemes that feature other metallic accessories. Matt bronze and ORB fit in with rustic, vintage, loft-style and industrial styles. In offices and commercial premises, Martin works well as a practical and attractive hook by the entrance, in the meeting area or by workstations.

FAQ – frequently asked questions Show more ▼

What is ORB and what does it look like in real life?

ORB (Oil Rubbed Bronze) is a finish inspired by the look of ageing bronze. It gives the surface a dark brown base with a subtle metallic sheen on the raised areas, giving the hook depth and a more decorative character. Compared with matt bronze, ORB is bolder and more visually varied.

Which walls and mounting surfaces can Martin be fitted to?

Martin is fitted using two holes with 8 mm hole centres. The model can be fixed to standard mounting surfaces such as concrete, brick, hollow blocks or plasterboard, provided suitable fixings are chosen.

Are fixing components included?

Fixing screws are included with the Martin wall hook. When fitting to a wall, choose wall plugs suitable for the type of mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or plasterboard. When fitting to furniture, a panel or a board, choose the screw length so that the screws do not go right through the material.

Is Martin suitable for a bathroom with direct exposure to steam?

ZnAl alloy with a suitable coating copes well with normal bathroom humidity, especially outside the immediate shower area. In places more exposed to moisture, remember to dry the surface regularly and care for the finish gently.

What is the load capacity of the Martin wall hook?

Load capacity depends mainly on the type of mounting surface and the wall plugs used. For heavier jackets, bags or rucksacks, we recommend fitting to a sturdy mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or a reinforced board.

How do I fit the Martin wall hook?

The Martin wall hook can be fitted to a wall, a panel, a cabinet front or another sturdy mounting surface. Before fitting, choose the position, hold the hook or mounting plate against the surface and mark the points for the holes. Then prepare the fixing holes – when fitting to a wall, use wall plugs suitable for the type of mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or plasterboard.

Once the holes are ready, screw the mounting plate or base of the hook firmly to the mounting surface. If the model has a mounting plate, slide the body of the hook onto the fixed part and tighten the locking screw. Finally, gently move the hook to check that it is sturdy and ready to use.

Can the Martin wall hook be fitted to plasterboard?

Yes, but you need to use wall plugs or fixings designed specifically for plasterboard. Standard wall plugs for concrete or brick may not provide sufficient stability. If the hook will be used for heavier jackets, bags or backpacks, it is best to fit it in a reinforced spot or choose fixings to suit the planned load.

Where is the best place to fit a wall hook?

The Martin wall hook works well in the hallway, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom, office and commercial premises. It is worth fitting it at a height where hanging items do not touch the floor, worktop or other furnishings. When fitting several hooks side by side, leave enough space between them to hang a jacket, bag, towel or accessories freely.
