Carao Cabinet Handle

Is the gold element durable, and does it chip?

The colour coating on the Carao model is applied using a process that ensures high adhesion to the base material. If you follow the recommended care guidelines (no harsh chemicals), the handle keeps its colour and texture for a long time.

Does Carao suit interiors with black taps and fittings and gold accessories?

Yes – Carao is designed precisely for this colour combination. Kitchens and bathrooms in which black taps and fittings are paired with gold or brass accessories are one of the popular directions in interior design. As a cabinet handle, Carao combines both of these colours in a single element, visually tying together accessories in different areas of the space. When matching the shade of gold, it’s a good idea to compare it with the gold accessories in your design – gold on aluminium may have a different shade from the brass or electroplated gold used in taps and fittings.

Are fixing screws included?

Yes, we include a set of standard M4 fixing screws with every Carao handle, which fit most cabinet fronts from 16 to 19 mm thick.

Do the handles fit off-the-shelf furniture?

Yes – the most popular hole centres (96 mm, 128 mm, 160 mm) are market standards that fit many factory-drilled fronts, including IKEA furniture. Before you buy, simply measure the distance between the centres of the holes in your furniture and compare it with the dimensions table. The 64, 320 and 448 mm sizes usually require you to drill the holes yourself. The screws included fit standard fronts 14–22 mm thick.

Can Carao be combined with single-tone black or gold handles from other models?

Technically yes, but the effect depends on the design. Combining Carao (black with gold) with another model in black creates consistency through the shared black colour, with Carao as the element with an extra gold accent. Combining Carao with a model in brushed gold can create a deliberate contrast, as long as the shades of gold are similar. Before mixing models, we recommend comparing physical samples or photos taken in similar lighting conditions – shades of gold vary between models and manufacturers.

Can I return the products I ordered?

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the parcel. The return procedure is described in the section: Returns and complaints.
