Lucia Wall Hook

How do I clean the gold-black option?

It is best to use a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid harsh detergents, which could spoil the look of the contrast between the two finish colours.

Are fixing components included?

Standard fixing screws are supplied with the wall hook. Choose the wall plugs yourself to suit the type of mounting surface, as different fixings are used for concrete, brick, wood, furniture board and plasterboard.

How much does the Lucia wall hook weigh?

Each item weighs approx. 70 g. This solid weight comes from the zinc alloy construction and you can feel it in your hand the moment you pick it up.

Will the Lucia wall hook hold a heavy winter coat?

The Lucia wall hook is designed for everyday use with clothes, towels, dressing gowns and accessories, but the final load capacity depends mainly on the type of wall, the wall plugs used and correct fitting. For heavier coats, bags or backpacks, we recommend fitting it to a stable mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or reinforced board.

Is Lucia suitable for a bathroom?

Yes – Lucia is suitable for fitting in a bathroom away from the immediate shower area. Next to vanity units, behind doors and on free walls, it is ideal for hanging towels, a dressing gown or a wash bag. Black and pearl grey are usually more practical visually in light humidity, while the gold option may need wiping more often when steam condenses.

How do I fit the Lucia wall hook?

The Lucia hook should be fitted to a stable mounting surface, e.g. a wall, panel, wood or furniture board. Before fitting, choose the position, hold the hook against the surface and mark the fixing holes with a pencil. When fitting to a wall, drill the holes and use wall plugs suitable for the type of mounting surface, e.g. concrete, brick, wood or plasterboard.

Then screw the hook on firmly, making sure it is straight and does not move from side to side. When fitting to furniture or a panel, choose the screw length so that the screws do not go right through the material. Once fitting is complete, gently move the hook to check that it is securely fixed.

Can the Lucia wall hook be fitted to plasterboard?

Yes, but you need to use wall plugs or fixings designed specifically for plasterboard. Standard wall plugs for concrete or brick may not provide sufficient stability. If the hook will be used for heavier jackets, bags or backpacks, it is best to fit it in a reinforced spot or choose fixings to suit the planned load.

Where is the best place to fit the Lucia wall hook?

The Lucia hook works well in a bathroom, hallway, walk-in wardrobe, kitchen, office and next to fitted furniture. You can use it for towels, dressing gowns, jackets, bags or everyday accessories. When fitting several hooks next to each other, it is a good idea to leave enough space between them to hang things comfortably.
