Anta Cabinet Handle

Is the Anta handle suitable for the bathroom?

Yes, aluminium works well under normal use on bathroom cabinets exposed to steam. After any water splashes, it is a good idea to wipe the handle dry.

Can the Anta 960 mm be used as a handle for sliding wardrobe doors?

Yes, the Anta 960 mm works well on sliding wardrobe doors, where the front is usually 60–90 cm wide or more. Before fitting, make sure that the long handle does not get in the way of the top or bottom track of the sliding system and that there is enough distance from the edge of the front on both sides. Aluminium is lightweight, so the additional load on the front is small compared with a steel handle of the same length.

Is it a good idea to mix Anta sizes in one kitchen design?

Yes – mixing Anta sizes in one colour in the same space is not only acceptable but also justified from a design point of view. The rule of proportion says that the handle should correspond to the width of the front: a smaller size (96–128 mm) on drawers, a larger one (192–320 mm) on cupboard doors, and the largest (576 mm) on tall fitted unit doors. Because the profile of the handle is identical across all sizes, handles of different lengths look like one consistent system, and the difference in length simply reflects the difference in the width of the fronts.

Black or brushed gold – which Anta colour hides signs of use better?

Brushed gold may disguise minor signs of use better than a smooth, dark surface. Black is visually bolder, but on a deep black matt surface fingerprints may be more visible under side lighting. In a heavily used kitchen, it is worth taking this into account when choosing a colour.

Does the brushed gold colour go with gold kitchen taps?

Brushed gold on the Anta model has a satin finish, which usually goes well with modern taps and fittings with a similar texture. However, bear in mind that shades of gold may vary from one manufacturer to another.
