Sabalo Cabinet Handle

What is ZnAl alloy and how does it differ from pure zinc or aluminium?

ZnAl is a zinc-aluminium alloy used in precision casting. Zinc brings very good casting properties – accurate reproduction of the mould and a uniform surface for finishing coatings. Aluminium lowers the specific gravity of the alloy compared with pure zinc and improves corrosion resistance. Finishing coatings (black, brushed gold, nickel, pearl grey) adhere evenly to ZnAl alloy, which results in a uniform colour along the entire length of the handle.

Do the handles fit off-the-shelf furniture?

Yes – 128 mm hole centres are a market standard that fits many factory-drilled fronts, including IKEA furniture. Before you buy, simply measure the distance between the centres of the holes in your furniture and compare it with the dimensions table. The screws included fit standard fronts with a thickness of 16–19 mm.

Are fixing screws included?

Yes, every Sabalo handle comes with a set of standard M4 fixing screws that fit most cabinet fronts with a thickness of 16 to 19 mm.

How do I choose the right Sabalo size for a kitchen front?

The 128 mm size (overall length 169 mm) suits drawer and cupboard fronts 35–55 cm wide. The 160 mm size (overall length 200 mm) works well on fronts of 45–65 cm. The 192 mm size (overall length 232 mm) gives good proportions on fronts of 55–75 cm. The 256 mm size (overall length 296 mm) is designed for wider fronts of 65–100 cm, where a shorter handle would be out of proportion.

Is ZnAl alloy safe in the bathroom?

Yes, ZnAl alloy works well in a bathroom with normal humidity. After heavy exposure to steam or splashes, it’s worth wiping the handle dry so that it keeps its attractive look for longer.

Can I return the products I ordered?

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the parcel. The return procedure is described in the section: Returns and complaints.
