Lumbi Wall Hook – a minimalist shape with practical elegance

The Lumbi wall hook is an option for anyone looking for fittings that combine a pared-back, geometric line with high-quality workmanship. This model stands out for its modern, subtle profile, making it not only a practical spot for hanging clothes but also an attractive decorative accent on the wall. Lumbi is a good choice if you are looking for a hook that does not dominate the wall but still looks elegant and solid. Its slim shape means it works well both as a single hanging point and when several are fitted in a row.

The Lumbi collection offers two carefully chosen finish options: refined brushed gold and modern pearl grey. The brushed finish gives the product a satin sheen that diffuses light beautifully and is practical to keep clean day to day, as minor smears are less visible on it. Pearl grey, on the other hand, is a shade with a subtle depth that fits perfectly with minimalist and Scandinavian styles. Thanks to its solid construction, the hook provides a sturdy support point for whatever you hang on it, while keeping its attractive appearance for a long time.

Why Lumbi?

Lumbi is an option for interiors where a coherent, understated colour palette matters. Brushed gold and pearl grey together give you two elegant metallic finishes that are easy to match to many schemes without the risk of visually overloading the space. The 32 mm centres ensure a secure fixing, suitable for everyday use when hanging clothes, handbags and accessories.

The simple line of the hook lets it blend easily into fitted furniture as well as be fitted directly to the wall in a kitchen, walk-in wardrobe or hallway. It is a product for anyone who values reliable workmanship and a modern shape that keeps the space tidy without dominating it visually.

Suitable uses and interiors

Lumbi in brushed gold works well in hallways, walk-in wardrobes and bathrooms decorated in a modern classic, elegant or Scandinavian style with warmer accents. Pearl grey fits in well with minimalist, modern schemes with a cooler colour palette, where a subtle metallic detail counts. Thanks to its versatile proportions, the model can be used both in the home and in more orderly office or commercial interiors.

Lumbi and Andes – two wall hooks with 32 mm centres and similar dimensions

Lumbi (20 × 36 × 75 mm, 32 mm centres, brushed gold and pearl grey) and Andes (20 × 38 × 75 mm, 32 mm centres, gold and black chrome) have an identical width, almost the same height, the same projection and identical fixing centres. The main difference lies in the finishes. Lumbi is available in brushed gold and pearl grey, while Andes comes in smooth gold and black chrome. In practice, the choice between these models comes down to which finish you prefer and whether you need black chrome or the more understated pearl grey.

Are fixing components included?

Standard fixing screws are supplied with the product. When fitting to masonry or plasterboard walls, we recommend that you choose suitable expansion wall plugs yourself.

Does the brushed gold Lumbi go with gold bathroom taps and fittings?

The brushed gold Lumbi goes nicely with bathroom taps and fittings in brushed gold or matt gold. With brushed gold taps and fittings, the effect will be most coherent, as a similar texture ties the two together. With smooth gold taps and fittings, the brushed gold Lumbi can create an interesting contrast of textures while keeping a similar colour tone. With taps and fittings in a more brass-like or honey shade, the difference in colour may be visible, so it is best to compare the shades in person before buying a larger number of items.

Does the pearl grey Lumbi suit a bathroom with nickel taps and fittings?

The pearl grey Lumbi has a cool, metallic character similar to the tone of nickel taps and fittings. This means it fits in well with bathrooms decorated in a cooler, neutral palette. With brushed nickel taps and fittings, the effect will be very harmonious, while with polished nickel the difference in the intensity of the sheen may be more noticeable. To be completely sure, it is worth comparing the two in person.

How do I fit the Lumbi wall hook?

The Lumbi wall hook is fitted using two holes with 32 mm centres. First, hold the hook or the mounting plate against the chosen spot and mark the drilling points. Then make the holes, choose wall plugs suited to the mounting surface and screw the mounting element securely in place. Once fitting is complete, it is a good idea to check that the hook does not move and sits level.

Is the Lumbi wall hook suitable for a hallway?

Yes, Lumbi works well in a hallway as a hook for jackets, handbags, scarves or keys. Thanks to its slim shape, you can fit several side by side to create an attractive, practical area for hanging up clothes.

Can Lumbi be fitted in a bathroom?

Yes, the model can be used in a bathroom as a hook for a towel or dressing gown, provided the room has normal ventilation and the surface is dried regularly after contact with water or steam.

How is Lumbi different from the Andes wall hook?

Lumbi and Andes have similar dimensions and the same 32 mm fixing centres, but they differ in their finishes. Lumbi comes in brushed gold and pearl grey, which makes it more understated. Andes is available in gold and black chrome, so it gives a stronger, higher-contrast effect.

Which Lumbi colour should I choose – brushed gold or pearl grey?

Brushed gold is better for warmer, classic, modern classic and glamour interiors. Pearl grey works well in modern, minimalist schemes with a cooler colour palette, especially with greys, white, concrete and light wood.

Which wall hook should I choose for a hallway?

When choosing a hook for a hallway, it is worth considering its size, how it is fitted, its colour and how much space is available on the wall. You’ll find more practical tips in our guide: Hallway wall hook – which one to choose and where to fit it.
