Bonito Cabinet Handle

Are fixing screws included?

Yes, every Bonito handle comes with a set of standard M4 fixing screws, which fit most cabinet fronts with a thickness of 16 to 19 mm.

Is the longest handle (960 mm) sturdy?

Yes, the aluminium profile of the Bonito model has been designed to remain rigid even at long lengths, allowing tall wardrobe fronts to be opened safely.

Do 160 mm hole centres fit off-the-shelf furniture?

160 mm hole centres are one of the popular hole centres used in furniture, but before you buy, it is worth measuring the distance between the centres of the holes in the specific front and comparing it with the dimensions table. The 192, 256, 480 and 960 mm options require the holes to be matched to the chosen hole centres. The screws included fit standard fronts with a thickness of 14–22 mm.

How does Bonito look on kitchen drawer fronts compared with a narrow handle?

A narrow handle (8–12 mm wide) on a drawer front looks like a thin metallic line – a discreet element that does not dominate the front. Bonito (37.7 mm) looks like a distinct metallic band – visible, bold and decorative. Wide profiles are often used to emphasise the horizontal lines of a fitted kitchen, especially when the fronts have no routing or texture and could look too uniform without a bold accent. Bonito works well on gloss and matt lacquered fronts, where the wide metallic band contrasts with the smooth surface of the front.

Is the Bonito 960 mm suitable for sliding wardrobes or only for hinged fronts?

The Bonito 960 mm (1000 mm long) is fitted to fronts with holes, which applies both to hinged fronts and to sliding wardrobe fronts with an aluminium or wooden frame, provided the front is a full panel and allows screw-fixed handles to be fitted on the front. On sliding wardrobes with track systems (e.g. Hettich, Häfele, Mantion), it is worth checking beforehand that the fixing screws on the front do not get in the way of the tracks fitted on the inside. On standard wardrobes with hinged fronts, fitting is trouble-free.
